Originally known as the Toronto Iron Works Company, TIW Steel Platework was established in 1907 as a supplier of tankage, process vessels, and related equipment to the petroleum industry. Their expertise in steel platework has since established them today as a leading supplier to petrochemical, mining, power generation, and numerous other industries.
They are one of two companies in our industrial group that specializes in storage tanks and boilers, and it’s their strict safety standards and comprehensive project planning abilities, partnered with their more than a century of experience, that set them apart.
TIW delivers multi-trade installation, maintenance, and repair services and is a fully integrated unit of engineering, procurement, and construction services for field-erected steel platework structures.
The nature of TIW’s work requires an extensive technical support staff, which is fully conversant with the applicable building codes and standards.
