CESSCO Fabrication & Engineering Ltd.’s expertise is in the custom design and fabrication of the largest and heaviest ASME Sec. VIII Division 1 and 2 pressure vessels, and through their dedication to service, capability, and quality, they’ve continually grown and improved since their establishment in 1948.
As one of our two pressure vessel manufacturers at Calibre Industrial Group, CESSCO is able to offer early design concept assistance, complete fabrication drawings, as well as constructability and cost improvement recommendations.
Additionally, they perform finite element analysis (FEA) to find vulnerabilities in design prototypes, cyclic analysis to assess the vessel’s performance, and vessel 3D modeling using AutoCAD Inventor.

In addition to being a pressure vessel fabricator, CESSCO has been in the metal stress relieving business since 1965, and their property features one of the largest modular ovens in Western Canada, making them capable of handling projects that other companies lack the capacity to manage.
CESSCO’s various shop services include cladding, cutting, beveling, and plate rolling for customers that produce tanks and smaller pressure vessels for process applications, and they also restore and repair large and heavy equipment.
Having a facility in Edmonton, Alberta, at the heart of Alberta’s nine-meter high-load corridor, positions CESSCO in the ideal spot to support our clients at Calibre Industrial Group who are in the oil and gas, petrochemical, pulp and paper, mining, fertilizer, and cement industries throughout Canada and the United States of America.
